AJ100 architects Cartwright Pickard, recognised leaders in Later Life Living (LLL), partnered with CONCRETE to amplify two major research initiatives led by the practice.
An earlier collaboration focused on the launch of their BIM Level 7 programme, exploring the lifecycle of building products and processes by tracking manufacturing, specification and maintenance data to support the sector’s transition towards net-zero buildings. CONCRETE led the communications strategy, managed the launch event, secured multiple industry publication features and placed an opinion piece in Property Week to coincide with Net Zero Week.
Building on this collaboration, Cartwright Pickard engaged CONCRETE to maximise the impact of their global Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) research, which highlights international best practice in Later Life Living.
CONCRETE developed the concept for a one-day industry conference to share the findings more widely, securing Building Magazine as media partner. The team created the event branding and led the communications, digital and social media strategy to drive awareness and attendance, bringing together cross-sector stakeholders and LLL specialists to explore the research and its implications for the industry.
A Future of Later-Life Living opinion piece in Building Magazine, alongside a further publication with RIBA, is currently in development.
